Our practices are based on the applicable legal provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

2. Hosting & Website Access

Our website is hosted by Squarespace (provider based in the EU or processing data within the EU).
Squarespace processes data on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR under a data processing agreement.

Each time you access our website, Squarespace automatically collects and stores the following information (server log files):

  • IP address of the requesting device

  • Date and time of access

  • Name and URL of the accessed file

  • Website from which the request originated (referrer URL)

  • Browser type and version, and if applicable, your operating system

  • Name of your internet service provider

This data is technically necessary to display the website and ensure its stability and security. It is not analyzed on a personal basis.

3. Contact Form & Email Communication

When you contact us via the contact form, we collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • The message content you enter

We process this data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to respond to your inquiry.
Your data will only be stored for communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

Emails may be archived and subject to statutory retention periods (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Data Security

We apply up-to-date technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access.

Our website is SSL-encrypted (recognizable by the “https” in your browser’s address bar).

5. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies – small text files stored on your device. Some cookies are technically necessary (e.g., to display the website properly), while others help us analyze user behavior.

Types of cookies we use:

  • Technically necessary cookies: For example, to store your cookie preferences.

  • Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website.

Google Analytics (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland):
Google uses cookies to collect information about your use of our website (e.g., page views, time spent). IP addresses are anonymized (IP masking). Processing takes place only with your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can prevent the storage of cookies either via our cookie settings or by installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.

6. Resipients of Personal Data

Within our organization, only those who need access to your personal data to fulfill their tasks will receive it. Your data will not be shared with third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or you have given your explicit consent.

Our service providers (e.g., Squarespace) process data strictly on the basis of data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

7. Your Right as a Data Subject

You have the right to request at any time:

  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

8. International Data Transfers

Currently, we do not transfer personal data to third countries (outside the EU/EEA). If this changes, we will inform you accordingly and – where necessary – obtain your consent.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect changes in legal or technical requirements. The current version will always be available on this page.
